Café MartÃnez`s operations started in 1993. Its core has been, is and will be coffee. We import, manufacture and distribute coffee. We take good care of it throughout all its phases and processes, from the coffee plant to the coffee cup. And thus we can achieve one of our dearest goals: excellence, both in product quality and in customer service.
In 1994 we started to develop a new concept in coffee stores thus becoming pioneers in the modern coffee shop in Argentina and worldwide. At 900 Talcahuano St, Buenos Aires – our original headquarters – we only sold whole bean or ground coffee. It was there where we fulfilled our first and successful experience
We also started to sell by the cup all the coffee varieties we used to sell whole bean. The difference with traditional coffee stores is that the customer can choose from a wide range of blends, as, among others, our Selecto Blend, Brazil, Colombia, Italian Roasted or Decaffeinated according to their preference, in a coffee-driven atmosphere, in a suitable architectural environment, served by true coffee specialists.
In 1995, our second store was opened and since then, we have been opening and managing 5 branches.
In 2000, after a five-year learning period and once we knew we already had the management experience – inasmuch as we could communicate it – we began with brand franchising.
At present, the chain comprises many other branches which offer a big variety of products, cover all hours and adjust to all climates, always keeping and respecting the quality our company is characterized by.
